Eric Gripp is licensed Landscape Architect in California and Nevada and Principal of E.G.L.A. Landscape
Architecture.
Eric earned a Bachelor of Art degree from California State University Northridge and Master of Landscape Architecture degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
Eric has always had a great love for music and began playing horn in sixth grade. Eric played throughout
his high school and college years. He studied horn with Wally Linder. Over the years Eric has been a
member of many musical groups, including concert bands, brass choirs, woodwind quintets, musical theater, pit orchestras, and symphony orchestras. Eric took a 18 + year hiatus from the horn, but was inspired to play it again after hearing Hornswoggle perform at the Museum of Making Music a few years ago. Eric now plays with Hornswoggle and the Miracosta College Symphony Orchestra and substitutes with the Palomar College Symphony. Most nights of the week Eric is playing music. He also plays mandolin and violin in several Bluegrass and country rock groups and local jams. Eric studies sound engineering, midi, and has a closet full of various musical instruments that he desires to learn to play in the future. When Eric is not playing music or listening to
music, he likes to surf and ride his motorcycle.
